Hey all, Does anyone know a good real estate agent? My wife and I are planning on buying some land up there while the interest rates are low. I'm not sure how much land I want just yet, it depends on location I guess and price. I would really like it to be close to a National Forest and/or next to a river, stream, or lake.
Thanks, Dean

Dean, I don't know how much help I can be. I have a trusted realtor friend, but she is a residential specialist in Spokane. She may know of someone who deals with Idaho rural property. I can ask her; it wouldn't hurt. Her name is Jan Geiger, with John L. Scott Real Estate, office # (509) 928-3413 or home # (509) 926-7255.

thanks. We now have an agent that is helping us out, but if things aren't working out I will call your friend...we don't have a contract with her yet, so we aren't obligated

hey all, I may be making a weekend appearance there soon....we found some land that I might be flying up to see once we get the paperwork that has a better description, etc. I'll keep you all posted. If I fly up there, it would be cool to meet some of you....even better if I could ride , but not sure I will have time to do that since this will be a "business" trip. The wife might get suspicious if I packed my riding gear

have yet to find anything in our price range for what we are looking for. The one that we thought might be good ended up being part owner of the Marina in Bayview.
A fellow rider from here is on his way (Greg from RA) right about now. I wish I could go with him, oh well. The boss said I could probably go next year, we will see.

My wife finally expanded her search field, so there is still a chance I will get to make a trip up there for a few days But I'll beleive it when the time actually comes, she seems to want everything for virtually nothing....I really dislike buying big stuff with her.... mainly houses, land, or even cars. Then she complains I don't help her out any Anyway, back to the positive side here...I really hope this happens in the next month. I would like to go pick some fresh Huckleberries, I miss those things. I usually put more in my mouth than in the bucket I did that with strawberries as well, my ma was always hesitant to send me out to the strawberry patch to pick some for dinner if there weren't that many out there at the time If I make a trip up there, I don't suppose someone would have a ride that I could borrow for a couple hours one morning would they J/K, I doubt I will have much time...but I wouldn't mind maybe meeting some of ya for some grub.

Dean, your realtor hasn't been much help? I talked with Jan. She is an 18 year friend who helped me get my house 17 years ago. I do some computer work, real estate cleaning, minor maintenance fixes and painting for her and the others in her office at John L. Scott in Spokane Valley, WA. She said, that she could set you up with a good realtor in North Idaho. Her name and address: Jan Geiger janspokane@aol.comwww.johnlscott.com/jange(509) 220-5129 John L. Scott Real Estate 300 N Argonne Ste 101 Spokane Valley, WA 99212 (509) 220-5129 My 500 is getting an over-haul. So I don't have an extra bike for you to use; Otherwise, I would let you borrow one of mine.

hey, thanks for the info.... a little belated I know My wife has been on a kick to find some land closer to us, so has been focusing on that lately I personally don't want to buy land down here in the White Mountains...I've been trying to convince her that we need to by something up in Idaho so we have a place for retirement, land will be much cheaper now then it will be later. She agreed, but wants a retreat that we will be able to use more frequently for now. We'll see what happens I guess. How has the riding been going up there? Are you getting snow in the hills yet? It's finally starting to cool off here, we are now in the 90's for our highs PS - I'm getting famous, check this out on the AMSOIL main website: AMSOIL Riders

Hi Dean, good job on the wins. It has been awhile since you stop by to visit. You picked my birthday as the day to do it. That was nice.
