Everyone, I am sorry that the CDA Trail Riders main web site seems to be off line as much as it is online. It has gone down daily since we have been online. I forgot to check for reliability when looking for a web service. It goes back to that old saying, "You get what you pay for." If you see an orange background on this page instead of the green and brown textured one, you know the main web site is down again. The green backdrop, club logo and personal profile pictures are linked from the main site so that is why those parts disappear regularly here on the forum. I am glad the forum site seems to be stable which is the heartbeat of the club. I don't think it has gone off line yet, "Knock on wood."

Yehaa!! Everyone, the web site is back up and running. It is costing me this time so it better stay up. They claim 99.7% up time reliability. I will cross my fingers.

WELL I AM ABOUT READY TO SCREAM AND PULL MY HAIR OUT. I HAVE NOT BEEN THIS UPSET WITH MY DARN COMPUTER IN A LONG TIME. ARE WE UP OR ARE WE DOWN? WHO KNOWS. WHAT I DO KNOW IS THAT I AM NOT IN THE DRIVERS SEAT ON THIS. WE ARE VUNERABLE TO OUT SIDE FORCES.

I'm sure the site will stablize soon. There's probably always little bugs that have to be worked out during the move from one host site to another. At least we still have access to the forum.

This is where we are now with the web site. It is sitting in limbo at this temp address: www10.powweb.com/~cdatrailriders/. They said to give them up to three days to make the transfer. Well it has been three days and they have yet to change their pointers to our web site. grrrr

Dare I say this nightmare may be over. I just received a confirmation from the host provider that the web site has completed its propagation. You don't even have to type in the [WWW] to access it they say. The HTTP will work either way. That is nice. Cross your fingers! Here we go folks! We are on for the ride! cdatrailriders.org

Thank goodness those outside forces finally cut loose. I was getting worried. Everything seems to be working great. After some more review we may find another bug or two but hey... no sweat - right? You done really good!

Hi everyone, this computer geek is happy now that we have some stability back in our lives again. I would greatly appreciate you guys using the front door again. I know that it requires you making one extra click, but hey it is worth while. That way, I can get a rough count of site visits and activity. I installed a hitcounter that can't be tripped to jackup and over inflate site hits so I can get a more accurrate stats record. Thanks,
