It appears that General Dynamics, the company I work for, is acquiring Itronix which is based there in Spokane...it's going to be part of the same division as I work for, so it's possible that in some time in the future I could tranfer I actually had the wife thinking about it as well when I told her. But her concern now is that she won't know anyone up there and she will for sure be stuck with the kids everyday due to that....so she said maybe once both kids are in school which leaves us about 3-4 years yet. I can handle that, it's a far cry from 30-40 years from now

I have lived longer in the northwest than anywhere else in the world. That would include many states, several cities in several states and a few foreign countries. All of them had much to offer (except maybe Texas ) and here is certainly a close step to heaven. Just hope the re-fueling depot in Rathdrum doesn't ruin a good thing.

The re-fueling depot was built in Rathdrum of all places. Against the wishes of the public, they built right over the head waters of all our fresh clean drinking water. They said it would not pollute our drinking water. Soon after it was built, they had an spillage accident. It was shutdown for a short while. Now it is in operation again.
