They all are good. Everyone has different needs in a machine that is why there are so many choices. I like my '84 Honda XR500R better than my '96 XR250R because it fits my needs better. Really it is like I said, "IT IS ALL IN WHAT YOU GET USE TO"!

I say the best bike is one that is PAID FOR. Just think how much playing you can do on $200 more a month if you are not making bike payments. That is my way of thinking.

What is the difference between the Yamaha WR, the TT and the YZ? Aren't they all 4-strokes? I don't know because I have always owned a Honda.

WR is a Wide Ratio gear box YZF is the Motocross 4 stroke, high preformance and Close Ratio gear box TT-R is like the XR, trail bike, its only downfall is its weight.

I am exactly same as you one that, Brent. Except even though I had Fords, I later found that I like the Chevy better. If I were to buy a new bike it would probably be the Yamaha. Six years ago before Yamaha redesigned their bikes, Honda and KTM were the choice bikes. It was embarrassing to be seen with a Yamaha. Now that has changed. Honda has never had an embarrassing momment. For an older bike, their is only one choice - the Honda.

You know, I was just thinking. I don't know anything about the newer bikes. So until I do, I am talking sh*t.

Nick, I don't understand why you want to sell your bike? It is ideal for your kind of riding.

There is no such thing as the best bike, only the best one for YOU. For used 4 stroke bikes, Honda is hard to beat. For two strokes, an older KDX is hard to beat, they, like the Honda, haven't changed much over the years, (if it isn't broke, don't fix it). Unfortunatly you have to try a bike out, too see if it is going to suit you. I would say try and ride several different types of bikes and see which one you like the most, (tough to do with brand new bikes, dealers don't like you test riding them) . See if you can ride someone's bike when you are out on a ride. ;D
