Hi, I'm a memeber of PANTRA (Panhandle Trail Riders Association.) I didn't know about your club until today. How long has your club been going? Is there a reason why there are two clubs in Idaho and none in SPOKANE? I live West of Spokane and frequent West Side Motorsport and that is where I learned of your club. I'm excited about your Poker Run! The Little Pend Oreille is my favorite riding spot! I look forward to meeting other members of this club. I tried to register in your web-site, but I didn't see a place to put in a password. So, when it asked for a password was not sure what to do. I'm logged in a guest. I've spent way to much time on the computer and I need to get dinner going! Our club is putting on a Kids Ride for our memebers at 7-mile May 23rd. Not trying to take any of your members, just thought I'd give you a heads up. We are all on the same team! Well, gotta go! MotoMomCRF230

Hi MotoMom, CDA Trail Riders originated as a Yahoo eGroup three years ago on the 8th of May. We were trail riders that had kept in touch over the years online. We decided to make our group official last summer and spent the fall and winter months getting the club up and running. Our name is CDA Trail Riders and our address is Spokane Valley, Washington. The club is based in Washington state, but represents Northern Idaho as well as Northeastern Washington. We are a small group right now because we are just getting started. PS: When you registered to the forum, a temporary password was sent to your email address to verify the email address. Copy and paste it when you first go to log-in. Then you must go straight to your profile in the menu at the top and change the password to your own personal password. You should be ready to roll. ;D It is nice to have you visit us, MotoMom.

Boy, I had to laugh when I reread my e-mail. I don't know if you caught my mistake, but it's a good one! We are Panhandle Trail Riders, not Panhandlers ;D. Thanks for the info on your club! MotoMomCRF230

Hi everyone, I want to make note about the poker run registration fee. There is some confusion. I apologize. I hope I can clarify it here. It would read better if it said, "$10 per poker hand." If you are a family of three riders purchasing a full charter membership, it would cost $30 for the whole family for the membership; in addition, it will cost $10 for a poker hand for each member of the family who intends to ride the poker run. So it will cost this family $30 + ($10 x 3) = $60. We require cash payment on the day of the poker run because of the cash payouts. The cash payout for the top three hands will depend on the number of entries. I hope this helps.

Hi everyone,
I hope you had a great holiday weekend. Our big event of the year is now behind us. We had twenty two members enter the poker run. They came from as far away as Gig Harbor, Washington and Clark Fork, Idaho. We pulled it off with a skeleton crew and the help of the Department of Natural Resource information officers. They were a great help.
It didn't go without a hitch though. Several got lost including the maned post people. The good folks from the DNR helped round up everyone and got them headed the right direction. The Clark Creek and Radar Dome trail-heads were challenging for many of the younger riders. A adult rider from Clayton, WA received a leg injury.
The weather stayed nice long enough for the poker run ride then poured during the drawing for prizes. We all huddled under a tarp.
A young rider from Gig Harbor, WA won the $75 first place poker hand with a straight, an adult rider from Mead, WA won the $50 second place hand with a three-of-a-kind and a young girl rider from a military family in Deer Park, WA won the $25 third place hand with two pairs. With the three new members from Clark Fork, ID re-donating their prizes, there was just enough prizes to go around to everyone. So everyone went home with there hands full and big smiles.
Gully washer thunder showers poured through every day of the three day weekend. But we still had enough sunshine to get lots of riding in spite of it. We had a great time. The photos of the event will be uploaded soon as they are developed.
