Well since this is the beginning of our first year. We should resolve to do what? You guys give suggestions and ideas on what you would like to see the group accomplish for its first year. Please be realistic. That way if we accomplish more, it will be cool!!! ;D Oh yes if you haven't read the mission statement, take time to do it. Make reference to it on occasion to refresh your memory. If you have questions about it certainly ask.

ahh yes safety posters.
I was thinking more along the lines of any poster, color or black and white. The content of the poster would be up to the creator, as long as it fits the guidlines. I dont wanna limit imagination. Then we could just post them around the local shops, etc. just to advertise a bit more.
doesn't even have to be a safety poster, just thought it would be a neat topic to kick off the year.

sure, that sounds cool. If we get some good posters ill pick up the costs of prints, etc. We should set a deadline too, what do you think?

We are getting the cart ahead of the horse. We need to think of money generating ideas first so we can do some of these projects. Maybe put on a dirt bike rodeo?

that would be cool as heck, but like i said, i will pay for the poster prints. Thats no prob with me. Other than that i dont see any real costs unless you want to do some cool prizes or something

Brent, I have been thinking about your poster idea. I think that is a really good idea that you can work on anytime if you like. Try to keep with the color sceme of the organization. If it will help, I can picture trees and schrubs surrounding the words of wisdom on the posture. Maybe with a trail rider or two somewhere on it. That would be good for motorcycle shops. Another really good place to hang posters are at the visitor centers in each community. Those posters should included trail etiquette for all trail users: hikers, bicyclists, off-roaders and equestians. Then give contact info on the CDA Trail Riders where it can be easily seen. That would be very positive promotions for the group. You can get the trail etiquette stuff at the "be good representives" topic. I will get the hikers etiquette info for you soon. I have it. I just haven't posted it. Keep me up-to-date on how it is going. Thank you so much for your help.
