Right now, I think you are checked only if you are loud. Everyone knows what loud is. It hurts the ears, drowns out conversations and draws attention to you. Your sound level is suppose to be 96 dbs +/- 3dbs 15 feet from the back of the bike.

yea i have a stock one but its gutted as much as you can. It has flames that come out when you get on it hard. so i dont know lol

So what do you think Yamaha man? Will you need to modify your muffler? It does sound like it could cause you grief? I am going out to 7 mile tomorrow to see how the place looks. If there is still a lot of snow and it is pouring down rain, I will whimp out on the ride on Monday. Sorry.
