Hey everyone,
Since for some reason I missed this section when i registered...Ill do it now.
My name is Brent. I live in Wallace, ID. I work at a ski-resort and on the Route of the Hiawatha mountain bike trail in the summer (thats how i learned of this organization, thats another story for another time).
My Ride is a 1980 XR500. I have been known to be a little bit crazy every now and then so ya know. you gotta watch out.
I have completely gone through and redone my bike from the ground up. Needs a new seat cover and thats about it.
I started riding two years ago on a 1976 Yamaha enduro 175. That was alot of fun, i still ride it every now and again just so i can feel sorry for everyone riding the lower cc bikes hehe im just playing.
I really started to learn how to ride when I was always trying to keep up with my friends. one of them had an XR250R another has a '83 XR500R and another has a '01 KLX 300...so ya know my lil 175 has nothing on them. The onyl way I learned to keep up was on corners, i learned that if I had just a little bit more guts than the guy before me i could take that corner faster and come out of it with a chance to maye be able to see their tail lights. But after graduating from the kiddy pool I move to a Yamaha DT400 that was fun...It was heavy for me but that is how i learned how to keep my feet on the pegs. you never have to use an ounce of strength if you ride your bike and dont fight it. Well anyways, I decided to Wipe out on some rocks one day at about 50mph and ended up pretty messed up. Me and the Bike. So That bike retired to the garage for a while until I could find the time to repair it. By this time I had already bought my 1st four-stroke my XR500. That is what im currently riding and I hope to move up to an '83 or an '84 XR500 some time soon (I have a passion for those things) But anyways thats about Ill i can say right now and im writing this day by day as life goes on...so ill keep yall posted on new advances in my ride. So later
Brent
