Hi, I guess I will start this board. Thank you, Dean from Arizona and formally from this area, for suggesting that we have a riders bio board.
So anyway here it goes, I guess I am the group director and motivator. I am a native of this area. I live only 30 miles from my birth place: Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. I lived my first eight years in Post Falls on the river bank near the old bridge then moved to Superior, Montana in the three grade. I got to live an entire summer in the mountains south of Cataldo before we move to Montana.
My dad was a logger so we moved from logging camp to logging camp. I lived in a couple of places in Idaho, a couple in Montana, a few in Arizona and then back up here to several places up north of here in Washington state.
I have lived in Kettle Falls, Republic, back to Kettle Falls, Colville, Blue Creek & Chewelah in that order. I then moved to Spokane in 1980 and have been here every since.
My grandmother, which was badwes's mother, was the Justice of Peace of Post Falls for 25 Years. I have always been proud of that. My family on both sides have lived in the Inland Northwest at least four generations. I like to tell Idaheons that when they get upity with me about not being a local. Then I ask them where they are born and they shut right up.
In Chewelah, I had a 40 acre farm with every kind of farm animal you can think of like horses, cows, goats, sheep, pigs, rabbits, chickens, ducks, geese, dogs and cats. I had my hands full back then. My cats, bird and fish are my family now.
I will have to fast forward through a couple of lives to the present. Or I will be writing a book here.
I ride an old '84 Honda XR500R. It is my pride and joy. I also own a '96 XR250R.
I do not have a favorite place to ride. I like to ride everywhere. I want to ride and see as many places as possible. I get bored riding the same place too often. Variety is the spice of life.
I live and breath dirt biking and camping in the mountains with friends. I workout at the gym to stay in shape to handle my XR500R. What I like to do to intertain myself when I am not riding is building web sites, creating graphic images, researching public land issues, politics and writing.

I will try to add more later as time permits.
