Road my "Home" ride today. Rode up Hayden Creek to the South Chilco trail, up to South Chilco and then back down the Hunter trail(outlaw to some people) to Horsehaven, around Barney Creek, up the Elavator to Nicholas Ridge and down Hells Canyon. All trails are in good shape, The only evidence of the State ride is the numerous "trail ride offs". The same spots that have givin people trouble for years. Heavy rains have fallen on all the trails and puddles and wet dirt were a god sent compared to the powder dust I was expecting. I started at 9 am and was back to the truck at 1 pm. 42 miles of trail. temps were perfect untill around 11 am , after that the heat was noticeable.
