What do you guys think about getting together out at 7 mile this spring? We can post flyers to advertise a potluck and get acquainted ride. Do you guys have ideas how we can promote our group?

Tell everyone you know that rides a bike. Even if you don't know them What a better way to 'get to know' them, and hopefully build the club in the process. We're cool ... , we're bad ... , we're the CDA Trail Riders. (Just don't tell anyone that I don't know how to ride, or ...) ;D

Is it still too soon to promote this outing? A simple flyer for the bike shops might help get the wheels rolling.

Hey you guys, what do you think about having the "Spring Get Acquainted Ride" at Seven Mile on March 20 at noon? That is the first day of Spring. Come armed with food for the potluck and CDA Trail Riders business cards.

Once I get out to Seven Mile today, I will have a better idea when we will be able to ride out there.

I just got back from Seven Mile. God am I jacked! I AM READY TO RIDE!!! There still is snow but with this weather in two weeks it will be gone. The place was packing in with riders by noon. All the flyers that Carl and I took out there in January were gone. I went from vehicle to vehicle as they rolled in and handed out membership flyers. It was fun meeting folks. Most of them I talked to were from Coeur d' Alene. Oh yes, folks are interested in being there when we have our "Spring Get acquainted Ride" on Saturday, March 20. Start planning for it guys.

I just posted the "Get Acquainted Ride" on the two ride calendars. Check it out. I think the ride calendar that I added to this topic section is cool how it works. You click on the event on the calendar and a 'popup' popups and describes the event. It looks good.

Who all plans to be at the "Spring Get Acquainted Ride"? The BQ will be hamburgers and hotdogs.

That would be really cool, Brent. Do that. It will be fun to have a big gathering for our first ride. Maybe you guys can think of games and stuff we can do on our bikes; Remembering to keep it easy so everyone can play. Just a thought.
